Quality Inn Peterborough

Front Desk service was great, everyone was super friendly and professional. Breakfast was okay. There were cereals and a small variety of baked goods; a pancake maker, bagels, rounds of scrambles eggs, turkey and ham sausages, bacon and hashbrowns (the hasbrowns were a bit stale). There weren't any fruits, as I had read there would be, so that was disappointing, but they had 3 juices to choose from and hot water for tea and of course coffee. The room was also nice. When we got to the room, it was very hot, the heater was cranked up and because of this we had a hard time sleeping, we eventually figured out that turning it off was the best and quickest way to cool it down, which allowed us to sleep. The shower was a walk-in, which is nice, but the end you walk into has no way of closing, it had no door or curtian, and the shower wasn't very long, so the water ended up escaping and made a puddle on the floor, which even before showering you can see evidence of previous water pooling/damage. Nothing too terrible though. The shower head was wild. It may have needed to be given a deep clean as the water was misting and spraying all over the place, another reason perhaps the water escaped as much as it did. The misting straight into your face made getting to the only ledge for soap less than satisfactory. (And yes that was with the shower head pointed down). The dial for turning on the water/hot water you really had to crank an almost full 360 to get to decent hot water. The exterior of the building looked like it was in good condition, the sidewalks surrounding the building could have used salt though, the parking lot was safer to walk than the sidewalks for the ice. We drove around to park our car by one of the other entrances/exits, closer to our room, and we were told that our room key would open any other door on the exterior of the building. Unfortunately the door we parked by, the key scanner wasn't working, the light wasn't even on, but the lovely gentlemen at the front desk was extremely kind, helpful and apologetic and set us up with a new set of keys. All in all, a decent stay. Clean rooms, kind staff, free breakfast, great location.

My short one night stay was beyond my wildest imagination. Was only looking for comfortably sleeping quarters but ended up with more than I bargained for. Room was comfortable,clean and spacious.With basic amenities. Luxury shower facility. Breakfast service was buffet style. I have no hesitation in recommending this facility to anyone who is looking for quality,service and affordability. Forget to mention the day before my stay I called in to ask for a 2 hour late check out and was pleasantly surprised at the instant accommodation no extra charge.You simply can't go wrong.!!!!

I stayed here last year and it was a really good experience. The front desk staff, on both visits, were easy to deal with and helped when I needed it. The room is very comfortable. And the breakfast was very good. I'd like the fact they have a coffee machine in the lobby 24 hours a day

The hotel was fine! It served my needs, though the cost per room was quite high the night I came. The location is alright, as there's plenty of restaurants and stores nearby, though it was a bit odd that there was constantly a bunch of security guards hanging around at the hotel. There always seemed to be two or three security wandering around the hotel. The staff was super friendly during my check in here. Absolutely made the stay better, and I appreciate that. The room itself was fine. No real complaints in this department. Plenty of space and the beds were good, and the room was clean.

In addition, this was perfect for our overnight stay! The room was well equipped even with a small fridge. The beds were comfortable with very comfy pillows! It was a quiet hotel and we had a great night's sleep. The breakfast was amazing as was the effervescent lady in charge! She made sure we had a wonderful experience. There was so much food to choose from. See photos. A location was central to the places we wanted to visit. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

I accidentally booked the wrong night through a 3rd party website with the non-refundable\no changes rate. I sent the hotel a message through the app honestly thinking I was probably out the cash. Someone called me and was more than accommodating in changing the night for me. Hotel was clean, staff were friendly, bed was comfortable. A little surprised by the heart shaped tub lol but I am sure I didn't read the full description. If you're looking for good barebones hotel with a decent breakfast it's a great spot

Great 1 night (at last minute) experience. The most comfortable bed and pillows. Bedding and linens provided were fab! Only 2 downfalls: air quality in hotel rooms is always stuffy, price was a little high.

I don’t usually stay at 2-stars. But it was the last room available in the city due to an event. And while the building had limitations and needed some repair, the staff were absolutely amazing. They were friendly, helpful and went above and beyond. I was very impressed.
